Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience, showcasing proficiency in ED observation and med-surg nursing. You’ll be expected to hold current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
While not required, experience with trauma, acute care, or additional certifications will be considered a bonus. Candidates should have a strong sense of adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to providing compassionate care.
Educationally, a valid RN license is essential, and previous hospital experience is preferred. Due to the nature of this assignment, candidates must be willing to work evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on a 13-week schedule and be available to work during major holidays—including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s—and the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
