Social Worker

This hospital-based role offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a specialized acute care setting, providing essential support to patients during critical moments.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related specialty and hold an active GA LCSW license. Acute hospital experience is essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment. The position is scheduled from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, for an 8-week assignment.
Required skills include strong clinical assessment abilities, effective communication, and crisis intervention expertise. Ideal candidates will demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a solid understanding of hospital procedures. Preferred skills include knowledge of discharge planning and experience working with diverse patient populations.
The role requires availability to work two major holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day—and one minor holiday such as the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve. Please note, candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the local area, as there are no local candidates within this range.
